Thanksgiving cards

Two posts in one day!  I am trying to add the most recent projects I've completed.
This is the card I created for sending out for Thanksgiving this year.  The turkey is from the Thanksgiving
Cartridge and is on foam dots so that is raises above the word "Gobble".  Inside the card I used computer generated print saying :  "'Til You Wobble" and "Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving", using the same spice colored cardstock as the word Gobble on the front.  Very simple card!
Wishing ALL of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Birthday Card for my Skating Friend

Hello!
It's been some time since I updated!  I have made a few cards but otherwise have taken a bit of a

paper crafting break after completing the big Halloween album for my grandchildren.  I am so happy to
report that they received the album and are very happy with it!  I understand that Aubrey, my 2 1/2 year old grand daughter, did not like the spider pages!  She said "I don't like spiders!" every time she came to a page with spiders or spider webs.  Aubrey, you'll be happy to know your Aunt Kim and your Grandpa BOTH share that sentiment!
Here is a card for my dear friend, Sharon, who is an ice skater.  I hope she enjoyed her birthday last Friday!
I used the WInter Woodlawn cartridge for the ice skater, Elegant Cakes cartridge for the "Celebrate" (with the blackout feature used for the black background), and the Cuttlebug Swirl embossing folder for the swirls on the front of the card.  I can not remember which cartridge I used for the sentiment inside the card.  I added a bit of silver ribbon to the front to represent that icy look. I used some cut up foam tape to give the skater a bit of dimension and pop her up from the "ice" a little bit.

Let me know what you think!  Thanks for looking!
Trying to show that she is raised up a bit!

Cricut Circle Meet Up and projects

I had the opportunity to go to the Cincinnati Cricut Circle Meet Up this past Saturday.
It was not an easy "feat" considering I had to go alone on crutches!  It was great to meet some new people and learn some new things about what is coming up for Provo Craft!  I think I could have enjoyed it a lot more had I been more moblie and could have walked around to talk to more people.  Had I not fallen on my way out to the car would have made a better day as well!  LOL!
We were asked to make "Calling Cards" to be exchanged with other Circle members as well as to be used for the drawing for prizes! The cards were to be 3" by 3".  I made "chocolate covered strawberries" for my 3x3 card.  On the back I printed my name and member information while the front is the strawberry from the Cricut Lite Cartridge "Celebrate With Flourish".  I used a glitter brown and a glitter white paper to make the chocolate on the strawberries!  I inked the edges of the scalloped circle and the outside of the square cards as well.
Click on a picture to enlarge to see it better!
For my tag, I made it a Chirstmas tag with a bird from the Birthday Cake Cartriddge, the tag from Joys of the Season and a santa hat also from Joys of the Season Cartridge.  I found this cute "pom pom" ribbon from Michaels and also added a pom pom to his hat.  I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the layer on the tag.
Both projects are cuter in person than in these photos...and I really like the tag much better than the calling card!
Let me know what you think!

This is a photo taken by a fellow Circle Member also named Teresa!
She and her daughter helped me out while I was there and I appreciated it so much!
