A Unique Shape Card

Hello all my crafty friends!  Thanks for stopping by to visit on my day to post for the Cuttin' and Stampin' Design team.  This week the team is creating Shaped Cards.
I made this card for my daughter's graduation from college. I am so excited and proud of her!
I decided to take a shape of the Boston skyline (cut file from the Silhouette store) and turn it into a special card for her.
Here is the front of the card as it appears when it is closed. I know it is difficult to tell the card from the background, so you may want to click on the photo to get a closer look.
You can see the front flap of the card is the skyline and the back of the card is a "sky with clouds" patterned paper that I've had in my stash for a long time.
Here you can see I have the card open so you can just see the skyline and a tiny bit of the back of the card opened and off to the left.
To create my card - I took my skyline and then welded a rectangle to the shape so that it created a card front and back.
Here is the card opened as you would open it to read it.
You can see I backed the card with a smaller cutout of the skyline so that the boats and water show through as blue on the front of the card. I also backed the word " BOSTON" In red.
On the right side, there is that sky patterned paper on the top half and a strip of white cardstock on the bottom for the place to write my sentiment. I divided those with a skinny stripe of red ribbon.
Another shot of the card standing up, slightly opened.
I am very pleased with how it came out and I hope she likes it!
Thank you for stopping by to visit and I do hope you will join in on the Challenge at Cuttin' and Stampin'.
