A Special Gift tag!

I wanted to share a gift tag I made for a special friend's gift this Christmas. She is an ice skater, therefore the snowflake and ice skate tag! As a matter of fact, the gift was even an ice skate ornament for her tree!

The Ice Skate is pop dotted up from the snowflake for some dimension. The Snowflake came from the Cricut Cartridge Winter Lace and the Skate from Joys Of The Season. The skate was cut at 3 inches, with the snowflake larger (I did not save the measurements, but most likely about 4.25??).

I wrapped the paper in pretty aqua snowflake paper with perfect matching tulle ribbon and tied the snowflake/skate on the package with a seperate piece of tulle so she could use the tag as another ornament if she wanted to!
Thanks so much for coming by....please leave me your comments!

Merry Christmas 2011!

Merry Christmas to you all! This is my Christmas Card for 2011. I have neglected this blog and have several older projects that I have not posted. I will try to do a better job of adding my projects. I wish I had an easier way to upload photos.

I used my Cricut to cut the Santa from the Doodlecharms cartridge. The beard and moustache are embossed with the Cuttlebug "swirl" folder. I inked around the moustache to have it stand out a bit more, but my photo doesn't show that very well. I also pop dotted the nose and moustache off the face, then pop dotted the entire head off the base of the page. I thought the googly eyes and the pom pom really put the finishing touches on him!

I had one card get returned to me for not enough postage. I thought that was odd, considering the other 35 or so I mailed did not get returned for that reason! But it was tricky stuffing Santa into the envelope. I can imagine what trouble Santa has stuffing all his gifts into his bag!
Merry Christmas to all of you! I would love to hear your comments on my Card!
